About Me
Hey, I’m Jamie — single mom of two wild, beautiful girls, recovering addict, cycle-breaker in progress, and the voice behind Healing…ish.
I created this space because I needed it myself — a place where healing doesn’t have to be perfect, pretty, or performative. I didn’t get the childhood I deserved, and I’ve lived through some hard chapters, including heroin addiction, abandonment, and the kind of trauma you don’t talk about at school pickup. But I’m still here. Still showing up. Still learning how to parent while reparenting myself.
Healing…ish is my way of telling the truth out loud. It’s for the moms doing their best while falling apart. For the women trying to raise good humans when they weren’t shown how. For anyone stuck between “I’m fine” and a full-blown existential spiral.
Expect a lot of sarcasm, stories that might make you laugh and cry in the same breath, and the kind of honest conversations we wish more people were having. This is motherhood, trauma recovery, and real life — no filter, no shame, just the messy middle.
Whether you’re here for the podcast, the video episodes, or just to feel a little less alone —Welcome! You don’t have to be fully healed to be worth listening to. I’m living proof of that.
Share your story
Whether you’re thriving, barely surviving, or somewhere in between—we get it. Life is messy, healing is not linear, and parenting while unpacking your own childhood trauma deserves an Olympic medal. This space is for your voice. The real, raw, hilarious, heartbreaking stuff. Share your wins, your WTFs, your “am I doing this right?” moments. Because your story might just be exactly what someone else needs to hear. And hey, we’re all just healing…ish.
